The Investigative Police Agency of Hung Yen Provincial Police, in coordination with Nghia Tru Commune Police, recently apprehended Chen Yusen (a Chinese national), who was wanted by the Public Security Bureau of Ruian City, Zhejiang Province (China), for "online investment fraud."
Chen Yusen was wanted under Warrant No. [2024]02361, issued on November 20, 2024, by the Public Security Bureau of Ruian City, Zhejiang Province, China.
Following the arrest, the Office of the Investigative Police Agency of Hung Yen Provincial Police handed Chen Yusen over to the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security to carry out procedures for his transfer to Chinese authorities in accordance with regulations.
Hung Yen Provincial Police stated that the unit has recently stepped up the management of foreign nationals' residency and has coordinated inspections and guidance for accommodation facilities to ensure strict compliance with residency registration and declaration requirements.
The provincial police urge accommodation facilities and landlords to fully comply with regulations regarding residency declarations; they are advised to promptly notify the police for inspection and verification if they encounter foreign nationals displaying suspicious behavior or possessing irregular documentation.
