In a short period, the Criminal Police Division of the Da Nang City Police coordinated with specialized units and local police forces to implement synchronized operational measures, successfully locating and arresting five Chinese nationals wanted for crimes who were hiding in the area.
Most recently, on August 13, the Criminal Police Division—in collaboration with a task force from the Ministry of Public Security's Criminal Police Department and local police from Hoa Cuong, Ngu Hanh Son, and Son Tra wards—arrested four wanted individuals at the request of China's Ministry of Public Security. The detained individuals are HUANG YANLIN (born in 1973), WANG XUEFENG (born in 1992), ZHANG HUIJUAN (born in 1973), and ZHANG JIANQING (born in 1975), all of whom are Chinese nationals.
Previously, on July 29, 2026, the Criminal Police Division, in coordination with the Ngu Hanh Son Ward Police, arrested WANG HONGJIAN (born in 1986, a Chinese national), who was also wanted by Chinese authorities.Through verification efforts, the Criminal Police Division determined that WANG HONGJIAN had entered Vietnam and was residing in Ngu Hanh Son Ward. Based on preliminary investigations, situational awareness, and monitoring of the subject, the unit coordinated with the Ngu Hanh Son Ward Police to implement verification measures.
Police forces subsequently discovered a Chinese national named WANG HONGJIAN staying at a hotel in Ngu Hanh Son Ward. By cross-referencing personal details and relevant data, the police confirmed that he was indeed the individual whom Chinese authorities had requested be located and arrested.
On July 29, the Criminal Police Division, in coordination with the Ngu Hanh Son Ward Police, arrested WANG HONGJIAN. At the police station, the subject admitted that he was wanted by the Public Security Bureau of Jiande City, Zhejiang Province, China.
After completing the required procedures—and acting under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security leadership, the Director of the Da Nang City Police, and the Head of the City Police Investigation Agency, as well as following guidance from the Foreign Relations Department (Ministry of Public Security)—the Criminal Police Division coordinated with the Foreign Relations Department to hand over WANG HONGJIAN to the Chinese side at the Huu Nghi International Border Gate in Lang Son Province.
