On July 15th, the Xuan Mai Commune Police, in coordination with other functional units of the Hanoi City Police, handed over Qiu Yu Ming to the Foreigners' Accommodation Center under the Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Support Police Department for further processing according to regulations.
The Hanoi City Police requests that organizations, businesses, accommodation establishments, and households with foreign nationals residing there strictly comply with regulations on exit, entry, residence, and temporary residence declaration. No cover-up or complicity in illegal activities.
For organizations and businesses employing foreign workers, it is necessary to fully comply with regulations on sponsorship, work permit issuance, use visas for the correct purpose, and regularly disseminate Vietnamese laws to foreign workers so that they are aware of and comply with them.
Citizens should promptly notify the police or local authorities when they discover foreigners residing illegally, failing to declare temporary residence, or showing signs of violating the law.
The Hanoi City Police Department stated that it will continue to strengthen the management of foreigners, strictly handle violations, and contribute to ensuring security and order in the capital city.
